(1)
Install the in-line air filter for the shutoff valve:
(a)
Put the in-line air filter in the supply port tube for the shutoff valve.
(b)
Connect the elbow to the supply port tube for the shutoff valve.
(c)
Connect the other end of the elbow to the solenoid valve assembly.

(3) Close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the applicable strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).

(1) Do the Air Filter Removal procedure.

(2) Clean the filter: (a) Put the filter in a strong solution of the detergent and hot water (160-180 °F) for approximately 2 hours. (b) Remove the filter from the detergent solution. (c) Fully flush the filter.

(3) Clean the filter in the sonic cleaner: (a) Put the filter in the cleaner tank. (b) Put a sufficient quantity of clean detergent solution in the tank.
(c) (d) (e) Operate the cleaner for a minimum of 30 minutes.Remove the filter from the cleaner tank.Fully flush the filter.

(4) Dry the filter with the compressed air.

(5) If it is necessary, do the steps to clean the filter again.
