Open the circuit breaker for the applicable hydraulic system and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch for the low pressure warning for the reservoir.

Remove the bolt which attaches the bonding jumper to the switch.

Remove the lockwire from the switch.

Remove the switch from the manifold.

Remove the O-ring from the switch.

 Discard the O-ring.

Procedure


 S 644-012
 (1)  
Apply lubricant to the new O-ring and the threads on the switch for the low pressure warning for the reservoir.

Install the O-ring on the switch.

Install the switch into the manifold.

 (4)  
Tighten the switch to 145-155 pound-inches (16-17 N.m).

Install a lockwire between the switch and the adapter.

Install the nut, washers, and bolt to attach the bonding jumper to the switch.

Measure the resistance between the bonding jumper on the switch and the airplane structure (AMM 20-22-01/601).


 NOTE: This resistance must be less than 0.0025 ohms.

Connect the electrical connector to the switch.

Loosen the collar on the backshell.

Pull the backshell down to move the serrations apart.

 (c)  
Turn the backshell to make the wire bundle straight.

 (d)  
Tighten the collar on the backshell.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the circuit breaker for the applicable hydraulic system:
