SUPPLY HOSE SELF-SEALING DISCONNECT (HOSE-MOUNTED) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
_________________________________________________________________________
1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains the tasks to remove and to install the supply hose self-sealing disconect (hose mounted). In this procedure, the supply hose self-sealing disconnect (hose mounted) is referred to as the self-sealing disconnect.
B. The self-sealing disconnect is attached to the end of the hydraulic supply hose. The self-sealing disconnect attaches the hydraulic supply hose to the engine driven pump (EDP).
C. You must drain the hydraulic supply reservoir before you remove the self-sealing disconnect from the hydraulic supply hose. To do this, remove the self-sealing disconnect from the EDP. Install a union in the self-sealing disconnect and drain the hydraulic supply reservoir.
D. Open the right half of the thrust reverser to get access to the
self-sealing disconnect.
