Prepare for the Removal

(1) Make sure the ground lock pins for the landing gear are installed.

WARNING:_______DO THE PROCEDURE IN AMM 32-00-30/201 TO THE LOCKS. THE DOORS MOVE QUICKLY AND COULD CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT IF THE LOCKS ARE NOT CORRECTLY INSTALLED.

Install wing and body gear door locks (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Make sure the APU START switch is in the OFF position.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6H18, DC FUEL PUMP APU
2) 6G5, FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE APU

P414 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 414R18, MAIN TANK BOOST PUMP 2 AFT

Remove the Fuel Line Between the Center Wing Tank Rear Spar and Body Station 1265.0

(1)
Lift the dust cover up over the shroud assembly at the rear spar fitting in the wheel well for the right wing gear.

Remove the V-band coupling that holds the shroud fitting for the fuel hose.
(3)
Discard the gasket.

(4)
Put a container in a position to catch the remaining fuel from the hose.
(5)
Move the shroud fitting to get access to the fuel hose.

Remove the cabin floor at body station 1265.0, right buttock line 8.5 (AMM 53-21-02/401).

Disconnect the shroud fuel fitting to get access to the fuel hose union.

Disconnect the fuel hose union.

Connect the new fuel hose, or a length of cord, to the fuel hose you removed.
NOTE: This will make the installation of the new hose in the shroud

easier.

Remove the forward fuel hose from the wheel well.
