Remove all remaining lubricant from the base and the seat with solvent, Series 82 (AMM 20-30-82/201).

With a new O-ring, assemble the poppet in the valve seat.

Apply a thin layer of antiseize compound to the external and the internal threads.

(4)
With a new O-ring on the valve seat, install the valve seat in the valve base, with the seat adapter.
(5)
Tighten the valve seat to 100-120 pound-inches.

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
A task to remove the secondary poppet from the drain valve for the APU fuel line shroud.
(2)
A task to install the secondary poppet in the drain valve for the APU fuel line shroud.
B.
Access to the valve is through the right body gear wheel well. No access door or panel removal is necessary.
C.
The procedure for the removal or the installation of the primary poppet is in AMM 28-25-08/401.

(1) Make sure that the ground lockpins for the landing gear are installed.

_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do the "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" task (AMM 32-00-30/201).
