 Attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag to the APU master control switch. S 432-010

 Connect and tighten the fuel line connector. S 412-011

 Disengage the door support rods and close the APU access doors. S 862-012

 (14)
 Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master control switch. S 862-013

 (15)
 Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 APU FUEL FEED SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 TASK 28-25-00-715-010
 1.  APU Fuel-Feed System Operational Test_____________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
This procedure contains an operational test of the APU fuel-feed system. The operational test makes sure that these APU system components and APU system controls operate correctly:

 (a)  
APU DC fuel pump

 (b)  
APU fuel shutoff valve

 (c)  
Aft boost pumps for the No. 2 and No. 3 main tanks operate during APU operation

 (d)  
APU fire handle and remote shutdown switch operate correctly to control the APU shutoff valve.

 (2)  
When the APU is operated, the No. 2 and No. 3 main tanks must contain a minimum of 2800 lbs (1270 kgs) of fuel. This is to permit a continuous operation of the APU for approximately one hour.

These conditions are necessary for this task:

 (a)  
APU Fuel-Feed System serviceable.

 (b)  
A specific fuel quantity is necessary for this task (AMM 12-11-01/301 and AMM 28-26-00/201).

 (c)  
Electrical Power On (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (d)  
Fuel Feed System serviceable (AMM/28-22-00/501).

 (e)  
Fuel System Card File serviceable (AMM 28-22-16/401).

 (f)  
Integrated Display System (IDS) serviceable (AMM 31-61-00/501).

 (g)  
Airplane must be in the ground mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).

 (h)  
CDU installed (AMM 34-61-02/401).

 (i)  
Central Maintenance Computer (CMC) serviceable (AMM 45-10-00/201).

 (j)  
APU System serviceable (AMM 49-11-00/501).

Prepare for the Operational Test

 WARNING: DO THE PROCEDURE IN AMM 32-00-30/201 TO INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS.
_______ THE DOORS MOVE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Install the wing and body gear door locks (AMM 32-00-30/201)
