 (2)  
Electrically ground the container and other applicable equipment to the airplane structure (AMM 20-41-01/201).

 (a)  
Do not connect the container and the other equipment to the airplane structure in the area immediately adjacent to the sump drain valve.

 (3)  Drain the remaining fuel from the main, reserve, and center wing tanks.
 NOTE: The best airplane attitude to drain the fuel tank sumps
____
 is 1/2° nose-down pitch and 0° roll.

 The approximate quantity of remaining fuel in each sump is: 5 gallons in each reserve tank, 35 gallons in each outboard main, 25 gallons in each inboard main, and 125 gallons in the center wing tank.
 (a)  
Put the hose for the drain tool assembly in the container.

 (b)  
Put the drain tool into the sump drain fitting.

 (c)  
When the fuel flow stops, remove the drain tool assembly.

Put the Airplane Back to the Usual Condition

P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) 6C18 JTSN NOZZLE VLV CONT R

 WARNING:_______DO THE PROCEDURE IN AMM 27-81-00/201 TO REMOVE THE LOCKS. THE FLAPS MOVE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  Remove the leading edge flap safety locks, if installed
 (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
_______ EDGE AND TRAILING EDGE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
 (3)  Reactivate the leading edge flaps (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 WARNING:_______THE TE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. OBEY THE (AMM 27-51-00/201) PROCEDURE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE LOCKOUT EQUIPMENT FOR THE TE FLAPS. TE FLAP MOVEMENT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT AND INJURIES TO PERSONNEL.

Reactivate the TE flaps (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Remove the door locks for the wing and body gear if installed (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the tail support equipment, if it is not necessary for subsequent tasks (AMM 07-11-08/201).

Drain the Remaining Fuel

 (g)

 (2)  
You can transfer fuel from one tank to a different tank with the components used for pressure fueling. It is not necessary to remove the fueling receptacle caps or to have a fuel truck. To transfer fuel, open the manual defueling valves at the refuel stations and the manual shutoff valves at the outboard refuel receptacle. This pressurizes the refuel manifold. Fuel from the fuel pumps will flow into the refuel manifold. Fuel transfer is controlled by opening the refuel valve or valves for the applicable tank that is to receive fuel. After you remove all the usable fuel, you drain the remaining fuel through the sumps.
