On the outside of the tank, do these steps:
(a)
Clean the mating surface of the spar where the bolts go through the structure (AMM 20-11-14/701).
(b)
Prepare the faying surfaces of these components for an electrical surface bond (SWPM 20-20-00) (View A-A): 1) Structure where the bonding jumper attaches 2) Bonding jumper faying surface 3) For the No. 1 and 4 main tank boost pumps, faying surfaces
of the ring (28).
