WARNING:_______OBEY THE FUEL TANK PURGING AND ENTRY PRECAUTIONS. FAILURE TO OBEY ALL FUEL TANK PURGING AND ENTRY PRECAUTIONS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do the purging and entry procedure for the applicable fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Remove the additional fuel tank access door(s), as necessary, to get to the fuel line (AMM 28-11-02/401).

Go into the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

(5)
Remove the bolts, nuts, and washers that attach the bonding jumpers to the bonding clamps.
(a)
Remove the bonding clamps and keep them for installation.
S 034-007
(6)
Loosen the coupling nuts, as it is necessary to remove the fuel tube(s).
(a)
Remove the bolts, washers, and nuts that attach the tube clamps to the support brackets.
S 024-008
(7)
Remove the fuel tube(s).
(a)
Keep the shims or spacers for installation.
(b)
Discard the O-rings and the retainer rings.

E. Procedure
S 424-011
(1)
Hold the fuel tube(s) and shims or spacers in the correct position.
S 434-012
(2)
Install the bolts, washers, and nuts that attach the tube clamps to the support brackets.
NOTE: Do not tighten the clamps at this time.

(3) Lubricate the new coupling O-rings with the petrolatum.
S 434-014
CAUTION:_______DO NOT USE ANY TOOLS TO TIGHTEN THE FUEL LINE FITTINGS. DAMAGE TO THE FITTING COMPONENTS OR LOOSENING OF THE ADJACENT FITTINGS CAN OCCUR.
