APU FUEL SHUTOFF VALVE BODY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
A task to remove the APU fuel shutoff valve body.
(2)
A task to install the APU fuel shutoff valve body.
B.
Two persons are necessary for these tasks:
(1)
One person out of the fuel tank to remove or install the valve body mounting hardware.
(2)
One person in the fuel tank to hold the valve body and connect or disconnect the fuel tubing.

(1)
Remove the APU fuel shutoff valve actuator (AMM 28-25-02/401).

(2)
Defuel the No. 2 main tank (AMM 28-26-00/201).

WARNING: YOU MUST OBSERVE ALL OF THE FUEL TANK PURGING AND ENTRY
_______ PRECAUTIONS. IF YOU FAIL TO OBSERVE ALL THE FUEL TANK PURGING AND ENTRY PRECAUTIONS, YOU MAY INJURE YOURSELF OR DAMAGE THE AIRPLANE.

Purge and go into the No. 2 main tank through the access door 544AB (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Disconnect the coupling nut on the outlet tube (4) from the coupling (8).
