 NOTE:____ The bonding resistance must not be more than 0.010 ohm.

 FUEL CROSSFEED VALVE ADAPTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
___________________________________________________
 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains instructions to remove and install the engine fuel crossfeed adapter (referred to as the adapter) that connects the valve body with its actuator.
 B.  The valve adapter consists of the adapter plate, index plate and adapter shaft. The index plate and adapter plate are attached to the actuator on the outside of the tank at the front spar. The adapter shaft extends from the adapter plate through an opening in the front spar and engages with a receptacle in the valve body. To remove a valve adapter you must enter the applicable main fuel tank and remove the bolts that attach the adapter plate to the front spar.
 C.  To get access to the adapter plate, extend the leading edge flaps. Access to the bolts for the adapter is through a fuel tank access door installed below the wing.
 D.  When persons do maintenance in the area of the wing leading edge, install safety locks on all the extended leading edge flaps.
