 S 024-064
 (1)  
Remove the engine spar valve actuator (AMM 28-22-01/401).

 (2)  
Remove the sealant from around the periphery of the adapter plate and front spar (if sealant was applied).

 (3)  
Go into the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

 (4)
To get to the engine spar valve location, do these steps (View A):

 NOTE: Refer to the table for the mid spar access doors.

NO. 2 AND 3 ENGINE SPAR VALVES; Go to the front spar through the access hole in the mid spar.

 (b)  
N0. 1 AND 4 ENGINE SPAR VALVES; Remove the applicable mid spar access door (AMM 28-11-25/401).

 (5)  Remove the bolts (7) and washers (8) (four locations) that attach the adapter (1) to the front spar.

Move the adapter (1) away from the front spar to disengage the shaft from the valve body.

Remove the adapter shaft (1) through the opening in the front spar.

Discard the O-ring (6).

Remove all of the old sealant from the front spar around the periphery of the adapter plate (if sealant was applied).
