Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
1) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel a) 6E17 CTR R & MAIN 2 JTSN VLV b) 6F17 CTR L & MAIN 3 JTSN VLV
(c)
Open each of these valves with the manual override lever on the valve actuator for each valve (AMM 28-31-04/401): 1) Jettison transfer valve for the No. 2 main tank 2) Jettison transfer valve for the No. 3 main tank 3) Left and right jettison transfer valves for the center wing
tank.

Do these steps at the left and right pressure refuel stations:
(a)
Open the access panels, 521BB and 621BB, for the fueling receptacle.
(b)
Open the access panel, 521CB, for the refuel control panel P42, on the left wing.
(c)
Make sure the refuel quantity indicators operate correctly.
(d)
Make sure the total and center preselect indicators are blank.
(e)
Open the manual defueling valves.
(f)
Open the manual shutoff valves for the fueling receptacle.
(g)
Put the applicable manual refuel valves to the OPEN position.
(h)
Do not remove the refuel receptacles.

Monitor the CWT fuel transfer operation.
(a)
During the CWT fuel transfer operation, the low pressure light for the CWT override/jettison pumps can show.
NOTE: No maintenance action is necessary.

(b)
Monitor the refuel quantity indicators to find the fuel quantity in each tank.
(c)
Continue the fuel transfer until the applicable indicator shows the specified quantity of fuel. 1) Put the CWT override/jettison pump switches to the off
position to stop the fuel transfer. 2) If you are scheduled to fully transfer all of the CWT fuel, continue with the subsequent steps.

(3) Use the fuel scavenge system to transfer the remaining fuel from the CWT.
NOTE: Do not operate the fuel scavenge system if you do not want
____ to transfer fuel from the CWT to the inboard main tank(s).

Monitor the fuel quantity indicators.

AIRPLANES WITH A HYDROMECHANICAL FUEL SCAVENGE SYSTEM; Do these steps: 1) Make sure the CWT override/jettison pump switches are off. 2) Put one or more of the inboard main tank fuel pump switches
to the ON position. The transfer rate will increase if you use more pumps.
NOTE: This will pressurize the fuel-feed manifold which is
____ necessary for fuel scavenge system operation.

position. 2) Close the manual shutoff valves for the fueling receptacle. 3) Close the manual defueling valves.
