 D.  The ejector pumps operate continuously while the boost pumps operate. The ejector pump uses induced pressure to operate and has no movable parts. Removal (not frequently) can be necessary to make sure there is no blockage in the ejector pump.

Defuel the applicable main fuel tank (AMM 28-26-00/201).

Purge and prepare to go into the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Remove additional fuel tank access doors, if it is necessary, to get access to the ejector pump (AMM 28-11-02/401).

Go into the fuel tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Disconnect the coupling on the pressure line at the motive port and the coupling on the water suction line at the induced port.

On the forward ejector pump in the No. 1 and No. 4 main tanks, disconnect the coupling on the discharge line at the discharge port.

Discard the O-rings.

Remove the bolts, washers, and nuts (2 locations) that attach the ejector pump to the mounting bracket.

Move the bonding jumper to one side.
