(1) Defuel the center wing tank and the No. 2 main fuel tank (AMM 28-26-00/201).

If you will remove the fuel line from the No. 2 main tank, purge and go into the tank through access opening, 544AB (AMM 28-11-00/201).

If you will remove the fuel line from the center wing tank, purge and go into the tank (AMM 28-11-00/201).

Disconnect the bonding jumpers from the fuel line.
NOTE: Keep the jumper clamps for reinstallation.

Clean the mounting areas for the fuel line clamps with solvent.

(2) S 424-011Hold the fuel line with the clamps loosely connected to the support brackets or structure with bolts, washers, and nuts.
NOTE:____ Do not tighten.
(3) S 434-012Connect the fuel line couplings (AMM 28-00-00/201).
NOTE:____ Start with the rigid coupling at a fixed point like a bulkhead, valve, or pump fitting. Make sure that the last connection point is a flexible full coupling.
(4) S 434-013Tighten all the bolts that attach the fuel line clamps to the support brackets or the structure.
(5) S 434-014Tighten the support brackets to the structure with bolts, washers, and nuts if the brackets are loose.
(6) S 224-015Make sure that the clearance between the fuel line and the structure is larger than 0.25 inch, except in the immediate area of support. The fuel line must not touch the structure.
