Install the bundle at its original location except at the two ends of the cleaned length. This is to make an overlap when you clean the subsequent section.
-Make new identification if necessary.
C. Special Conditions Aluminum cables NSA935308YU and E0438YV. The Polyamid Aromatic (NOMEX) braid can operate like a wick. Make sure that the drying operation is correct. If basic materials (pH>11) caused the contamination, the polyimide insulation can have damage.

________________________________________________CLEANING OF CONDUITS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
_______1. General This chapter gives the instructions related to the cleaning of the flexible conduits and the fabric sheaths.
R The CML codes of the cleaning agents are given in 20-55-10.
_____________________________________________2. Flexible Conduits, Shielded Flexible Conduits
R R R A. External contamination Use a Vacuum cleaner or a cloth to remove the contamination. If necessary, complete the cleaning operation with a cloth made moist with solvent then let dry.
R R B. Internal contamination Make sure that the contamination agent is fully removed, specially in the low points of the conduit.
R (1) If there is a drain hole: - Put it at the lowest point and make sure that it is not blocked.
R R R (2) If there is no drain: - Move the conduit on the harness to have one end at the lowest point, or - Make a drain hole at the lowest point, or - Remove the conduit so that the contamination agent can flow out, clean the bundle and install a new conduit.
R R ______________3. Fabric Sheaths The Polyamid Aromatic (NOMEX) sheath can operate as a wick. Make sure that the drying operation is correct.
R ______________________________________________4. Protection of the end fittings of the conduits
R _______WARNING : BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT YOUR FINGERS. FLAKE OF NICKEL ARE SHARP.
R R R R R At each fitting use the procedure that follows to protect against corrosion: - Use cleaning agents (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cloth to remove any contamination from the fitting. - Remove any flakes or blisters, make sure that you do not damage the base metal while you do this task.
R R ____NOTE : A dental or a seal tools are recommended for the removal of flakes and blisters.
R - Use a brush or an airless spray to apply a continuous coat of storage R preservation (Material No. 15-008) with a thickness of 0.030 mm (0.0011 R in.) to cover all the fitting.
