-Strip the core cable over a length of 35 mm (1.3779 in.).
-Install the heat shrinkable sleeve NSA937210MB0200 in order to cover the outer sheath over 10 mm (0.3937 in.) and shrink.
-Strip to the length "A".
(3) Coaxial Wire (Only for A310/A300-600)
(Ref. Fig. 018)
E0291 SW
These wire are used on the fuel system circuits.
-Strip the wire at the dimensions A and B.
-Install the heat shrinkable sleeve and shrink.
-If a shield repair is necessary:
-Strip the braid at a distance of 100 mm (3.9370 in.) on a length of 8 mm (0.3149 in.).
-Cut a wire gauge 24 on a length that permits to make a loop.
-Put the solder sleeve and the shield termination wire on the coaxial wire and shrink.
F. Crimping Procedure (Ref. Fig. 019, 020, 021)
-Engage the stripped wire into the contact.
-Make sure that you can see the wire conductor through the contact hole.
-Select the applicable tool.
-Install the contact in the positioner.
-Fully close the tool handles until the safety ratchet releases.
-Remove the crimped contact.
-If sealing is necessary:
-Heat shrink the sleeve if installed before stripping.
-If it is necessary to use several sleeves, wait until the first sleeve is fully cool before you shrink the other sleeves.
