Grade 0: no repair is necessary ( permitted damage).
Grade 1: permanent repair.
Grade 2: a check of the repair is necessary at each C-check.
( Refer to chapter 20-52-10 ).
Grade 3: temporary repair only, replace with new wire in accordance
R with the basic definition within 20 months but preferably
R at subsequent C check.
Grade 4: no repair is permitted ( replace the wire ).
____NOTE : The repair types are in order of priority.
If you cannot do the lower-category repair type because the parts are
not available, then you must do the subsequent higher-category repair
type (example: start with "1A" and if you cannot do this repair type,
then do "1B" and so on).

number from 9000 to 9999.
R Example: Repair of the cables.
R - Step 1: A FIN in the 9XXXVS series will identify the splice (for
R example 9001VS for the first splice that the customer installs on
R the aircraft).
R - Step 2: The customer will install a sleeve on each side of the
R splice with the 9XXXVS series number printed on it, in accordance
R with the splice FIN.
R - Step 3: The customer will raise a Customer Originated Change (COC)
R to include the identified VS in the WDM (AWM/ASM/AWL).
