____NOTE : If this terminal is not available, you can replace it by DAN387 with related tools.
R C. Connection Procedure (Ref. Fig. 012)
R (1) Wire stripping Strip the wire to the length A with the applicable tool.
R (2) Crimping procedure (Ref. Fig. 004, 005) - Make sure that the tool is adjusted correctly. - Hold the tool by the fixed handle with the crimping head up. - Push the operating lever out to increase the gap between the barrel and the indenter. - Engage the terminal into the tool and release the lever.

____NOTE : Lightly close the rear tabs of the terminal with your fingers to get a better position of the terminal in the indenter.
- Pull the lever in to engage the ratchet in the first notch. - Engage the wire into the rear part of the terminal and make sure that it is in the correct position for crimping.
____NOTE : For Gauge 24 wires, fold the conductor in the middle of the stripped length
____NOTE : For Gauge 24 and Gauge 22 wires, put the wire to one side (not in the middle) of the rear part of the terminal.
- Fully close the tool handles until the ratchet releases. - Release the mobile handle and push the lever to release the terminal.
R R R (3) Insertion/Extraction of the housing (E0256M) (Ref. Fig. 006) - Put the rear part of the protection sleeve(large hole)in front of the terminal. - Manually engage the terminal into the sleeve (for a terminal crimped with a Gauge 24 wire, the operation is easier if you use a CANNON CK1 tool).
R R R (4) Insertion/Extraction of the terminal - Push to insert the terminal and pull to extract it.
