 (i)
Remove the splice from the crimping tool.

 (j)
Do the same operation for the other side of the splice from step (e).

 (k)
Do a check to make sure that the splicing is correct.

 (l)
Put the insulation sleeve in the correct position.

 (m)
Install the sealing adapters under the sleeve (they must show out of the sleeve on a dimension of 0.80 mm (0.0314 in.)

 (n)
Put one side of the insulation sleeve in the crimping die.

 (o)
Crimp the sleeve (fully tighten the handle until the ratchet releases).

 (p)
Remove the assembly from the crimping tool.

 (q)
Do the same operation for the other end of the sleeve from step (l).

 (r)

 (e)
 (the splices must be staggered).

 (t)
Turn the solder sleeve when you engage it on the shielding link so that it does not catch on the strands.

 (u)
Center the solder on the stripped portion of the bonding wire and shield.

 (v)
Heat the center of the sleeve (do not turn the assembly when you do this) until the sleeve shrinks (the solder ring melts and flows into the strands of the bonding wire and shield).

 (w)
Let cool for a few seconds.

 (x)
Do the operation again for the other side from step (t).

 (y)
 Install the heat-shrink sleeve.

 (z)
 Shrink the sleeve.
 ____

NOTE : PTFE requires a minimum temperature of 327 deg.C (620.60 deg.F) for the shrinking. At level of the two solder sleeves, it is necessary to prevent overheat of the solder.
