(m) TORQUE the threaded cap (1) to between 0.5 m.daN (44.2477 lbf.in) and 0.62 m.daN (54.8672 lbf.in)
R R R (n) Put a mark with a red pencil line on the threaded cap (1) and the body (5).
R (2) SOURIAU (Ref. Fig. 013)
R R (a) Install the threaded cap (1) , the washer (2) and the seal (10) on the cable.
R (b) Strip the cable at dimension A.
R (c) Install the braid support (3) against the insulation (4) of the cable (Except for contact E0178-02).
(d) Put the braided shield (5) on the braid support (3).
R (e) Strip the wire at dimension B.
(f) Install the contact core (6) on the stripped wire: For contact Type 01-02 : solder the contact core (6) on the wire For contact Type 03-04 : crimp the contact core (6) wire with tool, do not forget the positioner.
(g) Install the dielectric (8) and the spacer (7) in the contact body (9).
(h) Install the contact body (9) on the contact core (6).
R R (i) Torque the threaded cap (1) to 0.54 m.daN (47.7876 lbf.in) in the contact body (9).
R R (j) Put a mark with a red pencil line on the threaded cap (1) and the contact body (9).
R (3) RADIALL Type 01 and 02 (Ref. Fig. 012)
(a) Strip the cable at the size A.
(b) Install the threaded cap (1) the washer (2) and the seal (1) on the cable.
(c)
Engage the braid support (4) on the braided shield (5).
(d)
Move the braided shield (5) backwards on the braid support (4).
(e)
Strip the wire at the size C.
(f)
Check the size B.
(g)
Engage the stripped wire in the contact core (7).
(h)
Solder the contact core (7) on the stripped wire.
(i)
Install the body (6) on the core contact (7).
(j)
Screw the threaded cap (1) on the body (6) to 0.575 m.daN (50.8849 lbf.in).
(k)
After torquing, mark a pencil red line on the threaded cap (1) and the contact body (6).
(4) RADIALL Type 03 and 04 R (Ref. Fig. 014)
(a)
Strip the cable at the size A and B.
(b)
Install the heat-shrinkable sleeve (1) and the ferrule (2) on the cable.
(c)
Install the threaded cap (3) on the braid support (4).
(d)
Put the braid support (4) in position with the braided shield (5) over the braid support (4).
(e)
Put the ferrule (2) on the braided shield (5) to get the size C.
(f)
Install the washer (6) in the stripped wire.
(g)
Engage the stripped wire in the contact core (7).
(h)
Crimp the contact core (7) on the stripped wire with tool.
(i)
Install the contact body (8) on the contact core (7).
(j)
Screw the threaded cap (3) on the body (8).
(k)
TORQUE the threaded cap (3) to 0.37 m.daN (32.7433 lbf.in) .
(l)
After torquing, mark a pencil red line on the threaded cap (3) and the body (8).
