C. Wire Stripping
(Ref. Fig. 005)
(1)
If sealing is necessary, install the heat-shrinkable sleeve on the wire before stripping. (Shrinking is made after crimping).
(2)
Select the applicable tool.
(3)
Strip the wire to the length A.
D. Crimping Procedure and Tools
(Ref. Fig. 006)
(1)
Install the positioner in the tool.
(2)
Select the number of the wire gauge to crimp.
(3)
Engage the stripped wire in the pin/socket.
(4)
Make sure that you can see the wire conductor through the pin/socket hole.
(5)
Install the pin/socket contact in the positioner.
(6)
Fully close the tool handles until the safety ratchet releases.

C. Wire Stripping (Ref. Fig. 008) If sealing is necessary install the heat-shrinkable sleeve on the wire before stripping. In case of two shrinkable sleeves installed the lengths are :
-
the first shrinkable sleeve has a length of 40 mm (1.5748 in.)
-
the second shrinkable sleeve has a length of 30 mm (1.1811 in.) Shrinking is made after crimping. Select the applicable tool Strip the wire to the length A
D. Crimping Procedure and Tools
(Ref. Fig. 009)
(1)
Put the stripping wire in the hole of the contact.
(2)
Make sure that you can see the wire conductor through the inspection hole.
(3)
