(6)
Fully close the tool handles until the safety ratchet releases.
(7)
Remove the crimped inner contact.
(8)
Slightly expand the braid (outer conductor).
(9)
Slide the contact body onto the inner contact and under the expanded braid.

(10)
Push the center contact until it is locked in position in the contact body. Pull lightly on the cable to make sure that the inner contact is securely locked in position.
(11)
Slide the crimping ferrule forward over the braid and up against the contact body.
(12)
Insert the contact in the applicable crimping tool and crimp on the ferrule and the contact.
____
NOTE : Make sure that the cable, contact and ferrule remain in the correct position during the crimping process.
(13) Slide the sleeve under the crimped ferrule and toward the contact body.

B. Contacts Insertion / Extraction Tools (Ref. Fig. 002)
C. Wire Stripping (Ref. Fig. 002) Engage the ferrule on the wire. Strip the shield of the wire in order to get the dimension A. Cut the shield in order to get the dimension C. Flare the shield. Strip the conductor in order to get the dimension B.
D. Crimping Procedure and Tools (Ref. Fig. 003)
(1) Engage the insulation sleeve on the stripped portion on the conductor until it comes into contact with the insulation.
(2) Engage the stripped end of the conductor into the contact barrel.
(3) Make sure that : - the rear of the contact comes against the insulating sleeve, - you can see the conductor through the hole in the contact barrel.
(4) Install the contact barrel in the positioner of the conductor crimping tool.

Fully close the tool handles until the safety ratchet releases.
(6)
Remove the crimped contact.
(7)
Engage the contact into the ground until the front part of the contacts are at the same level.
(8)
Move the conductor shield over the rear section of the ground contact.
(9)
Make sure that :
-the shield is in the correct position on the ground contact periphery,
-no shield fiber has gone into the interior of the contact.
(10)
Bring the ferrule against the ground contact shoulder.
(11)
Put the contact in the positioner of the ferrule crimping tool.
(12)
Fully close the tool until the safety ratchet releases.
