R E. Crimping Procedure
R (Ref. Fig. 012)
R - Engage the stripped wire in the contact.
R - Make sure that you can see the wire through the contact hole.
R - Use the applicable tool.
R - Install the contact in the positioner.
R Fully close the tool handles until the safety ratchet releases.
R - Remove the crimped contact.
R - If sealing is necessary:
R - Heat shrink the sleeve if installed before stripping.
R - If it is necessary to use more than one sleeve, let the first sleeve become
R fully cool before you shrink the other sleeves.

(1) Normal wire
(a) If sealing is necessary, install the heat-shrinkable sleeve on the wire before stripping. Shrinking is done after crimping. Use applicable tool. Strip to the length "E".
(2) Special wires E0437 DL22 and DL20 NSA935132DJ20
R R (a) Remove the fiberglass braid then the PTFE envelope along a length of 50 mm (1.9685 in.).
R (b) Strip the core cable along a length of 35 mm (1.3779 in.).
(c) Install the heat shrinkable sleeve on the outer sheath along 10 mm (0.3937 in.) and shrink.
(d) Strip the core cable in the heat shrinkable sleeve to the normal length "E".
