REPAIR OF HEAT SHRINK CONDUITS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
This chapter gives the procedures for the repair of heat shrinkable conduits
related to the degree of damage.
The heat shrinkable conduits installed on aircraft for harness protection
are divided into two sub-families and have the codes that follow:
-Shrinkable sleeves:

E0126 (ex NSA937211)

NSA937493
NSA937502
____NOTE : This type of heat shrinkable sleeve is also used at the cable ends
-Shrinkable mouldings:

The standard procedure is to replace damaged or broken items (harness protection or full protected harness ) by new items with the same P/N.

BUNDLE ATTACHMENT REPAIR PROCESSES - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
RR _______1. General The standard procedure for the repair of damaged bundle attachments is to replace the damaged part by a new part with the basic P/N. For some parts, if the basic P/N is not available, you can use the alternative P/Ns given in the chapters that follow.
