Crimp the contacts (10) with the applicable tool.
-
Step 7: Insert the spacer (11) between the conductors. Make sure that there is a free slot on the two sides of the conductors.
-
Step 8: Slide the dielectric (13) on the contacts. Make sure that the pin (12) is between the two conductors.
-
Step 9: Insert the contact body (14). Make sure that the pin (12) is aligned with the positioning slot (15) of the body (14) until the ferrule is covered.
-Crimp with the applicable tool at the rear of the contact body (14).
-Cut the protruding braid strands.
D. Installation of the sealing sleeve
(1)
Insert the crimped contact in the connector with the applicable tool (make sure that the orientation key (16) is in the correct position).
(2)
Slide the sealing sleeve (1) into the connector insert cavity until it touches the bottom. The sealing sleeve abutment must touch the rear of the connector grommet.

-Strip the wire (2) to lenght "A". Make sure that you do not cut the braid (4).
-Slide the ferrule (3) onto the braid. Make sure that the largest
diameter is on the external sheath.
-Comb the braid strands (using tool: FACOM 270A or equivalent) and fold them over the ferrule (3).
-
Cut the protection tape (5) as near as possible to the combed braid strands (6). Make sure that you do not cut or damage the conductor insulation (7).
-
Cut and remove the filler located in the axis of the wire.
-
Cut the conductors to lenght "B".
-Strip the conductor (7) to lenght "C".
-Insert the cores (8) into the contacts (9).
-Crimp the contacts (9) with the applicable tool.
-Slide the spacer between the conductors.
