 1 Put a light source at 45 deg. to the outer surface of the
_ window panel.
 2 Do a check of the bus bar for burn spots.
_
 (c) Do a check for crazing. (Ref. Fig. 618/TASK 56-12-11-991-056)
 1 Get a metal scale 150 mm (5.9 in.) long.
_ 2 Put the metal scale perpendicular to the surface of the
_ sliding window panel where the crazing is the deepest.
 3 Look at the scale reflection with an angle of vision of 45
_ deg. to find the apparent depth of the crazing damage.
 4 The correct depth is approximately two times the apparent
_ depth.
 5 Where crazing is relatively shallow, a hand-held magnifying
_ glass is useful as an optical aid.

 (2) Inspection of the glass sliding windows (PPG supplier, P/N NP... and SPS supplier, P/N SPS...)
 NOTE : "Impaired": in inspection tables , the word "impaired" refers
____ to visibility. Visibility is "impaired" when defects have an effect on visibility. If visibility is "impaired", you must replace the window panel.
 (a) Do an inspection of the glass sliding windows for:
 1_ Cracks
 (Ref. Fig. 619/TASK 56-12-11-991-057)
 2_ Scratches
 (Ref. Fig. 620/TASK 56-12-11-991-058)
 NOTE : If you see scratches, you must do a check of the depth____
 of the scratches:
 - with your finger nail or
 - with the MITUTOYO surface tester SJ201 (Ref. TASK 56-
10-00-200-004).
 3_ Chips

 4_ Delamination
