R (d) Loosen the clamp (28) and disconnect the duct (27).
R (e) Remove the lining panel (29) 211KC (212KC).
R (3) Removal of the sliding window lining (16)
R (a) Open the sliding window 8DG1 (8DG2) (Ref. TASK 56-12-11-010-001).
R (b) Remove the screw (5) and remove the pencil holder assembly (7).
R (c) Remove the screw (21) and the washer (20).
R (d) Remove the screw (19) and the washer (18).
R (e) Remove the handle (6).
R (f) Remove the screw (9) and the washer (8).
R (g) Remove the screw (15) and the washer (14).
R (h) Close the sliding window.
R (i) Remove the blanking plug (4), remove the screw (3) and the washer
R (2).
R (j) Remove the screws (11).
R (k) Remove the screws (12).
R (l) Lift the plate (17) and remove the sliding window lining (16).
R (m) Disconnect the electrical connector (10) from the receptacle.
R (n) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.

R (1) Remove the bolts (54),(55) and the nuts (57).
R (2) Remove the aft upper rail (56) from its support.

R C. Removal of the Sliding Window
R CAUTION : BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SLIDING WINDOW.THE HANDLE IS_______
R SPRING -LOADED AND WILL MOVE SUDDENLY WHEN YOU REMOVE THE
R WINDOW FROM THE TRACK. IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL THE HANDLE CAN
R HIT YOU.
R (1) Move the sliding window assembly until it touches the rear stop. Then
R remove it.

R (1) Remove the sealant with a non-metallic scraper from the aft upper
R rail (56) and from its support.
R (2) Clean the aft upper rail (56) and its support with the CLEANING
R AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).
