R (1) Examine the windshield for:
(a) Cracks. (Ref. Fig. 601/TASK 56-11-11-991-005)
(b) Scratches. (Ref. Fig. 602/TASK 56-11-11-991-006)
R R R NOTE : If you see scratches, you must do a check of the depth of____ the scratches: - with your fingernail or - with the MITUTOYO surface tester SJ201 (Ref. TASK 56-10-00-200-004).
R R R R R R NOTE : There are two methods to help classify the depth of the____ damage. The fingernail method quickly and approximately measures the damage and the MITUTOYO surface tester method accurately measures the depth of the damage. If the MITUTOYO surface tester is available, you must use the more accurate measurement to classify the damage.
