R  (i) TORQUE the nuts (41), (44), (47) and (50) to between 0.6 and 0.7

R  (k) Install the circlips (42), (45), (46) and (51).

R  (b) The load permitted on the handle is 20 +2 -3 daN (44.9617 +4.4961 
R  -6.7442 lbf) . If the load is not in the tolerance, adjust the 
R  sliding window again. 
R  NOTE : We recommend that you adjust the window to get a load on____ 
R  the handle near the maximum limit.

R  E. Sealing Check 
R  (1) Close the sliding window 
R  (2) Apply water to the periphery of the sliding window from the outside 
R  of the aircraft 
R  (3) Wait ten minutes and make sure that there is no water leakage at 
R  level of the window frame. 
R  (4) If water goes into the cockpit, make sure that the adjustments are 
R  correct and that the seal is in the correct condition. 
R  (5) Dry if necessary.

R  (1) Lift the plate (17) and put the sliding window lining (16) in

R  (2) Put the plate (17) in position, install the screws (12) and tighten 
R  them. 
R  (3) Install the screws (11) and tighten them. 
R  (4) Install the washer (2) and the screw (3). 
R  (5) Tighten the screw (3). 
R  (6) Install the blanking plug (4). 
R  (7) Open the sliding window. 
R  (8) Install the guide (13) on the sliding window lining (16) with the 
R  washer (14) and the screw (15). 
R  (9) Tighten the screw (15). 
R  (10) Install the washer (8) and the screw (9).
