 WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED. 
R R  (1) Clean the retainers (18) and (20) with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003). 
R R R  (2) Apply a thin layer of BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-018) to the bearing surfaces of the seal (17) on the retainer (20).

 D. Assembly of the Fixed Window Assy (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 56-11-12-991-024)
 (1) Installation of the new seal:
 (a) For the left side, install a new seal (17) on the retainer (20).
 (b) For the right side, install a new seal (17) on the retainer (20).
 (2) Make sure that the holes in the seal (17) are aligned with those in the retainer (20). 
R R  (3) When the seal (17) is installed correctly, use your hand or a roller to push the seal down.
 (4) Carefully remove the unwanted BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-018) from the outer and inner edges of the seal (17).
 (5) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) in the housing of the window pane (19) on the retainer (20).
 (6) Install the retainers (18) and (20) on the window pane (19).
 (7) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) or SEALANTS (Material No. 09-053) in the housings of the bolt heads (15).
 (8) Install the bolts (15) and the nuts (16).

R  (1) Put the window pane (19) in position to get the clearance J5 of 1.4 +0.8 -0.8 mm (0.0551 +0.0314 -0.0314 in.).

R  (1) TORQUE the nuts (16) to between 0.35 and 0.45 m.daN (30.97 and 39.82 lbf.in).

 (1) Clean the housing of the window with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002) and a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).

 A. Installation of the Fixed Window Panel

 (1)
 Put the fixed window assy (13) in position in its housing.

 (2)
 Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) or SEALANTS (Material No. 09-053) in the housings of the heads of the screws (12).

 (3) Install the screws (12).

 B. Adjustment of the Fixed Window

R (1) Put the window pane (19) in position to get the clearance J4 of 1.2 +0.8 -0.8 mm (0.0472 +0.0314 -0.0314 in.).

 C. Torque of the Fixed Window Panel Fasteners (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 56-11-12-991-024, 403/TASK 56-11-12-991-026)
 (1) TORQUE the screws (12) to between 1.6 and 1.8 m.daN (11.79 and 13.27 lbf.ft).

 (1) Make sure that the out-of-flush between the window and the frame is:
 -for A3: 0.6 +0.6 -0.6 mm (0.0236 +0.0236 -0.0236 in.) R - for A4: 0 +0.5 -0.5 mm (0.0000 +0.0196 -0.0196 in.).
