A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Clean the housing of the sliding window panel with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).

B. Installation of the Sliding Window Panel
CAUTION : BE CAREFUL DURING THE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION OF EACH SLIDING
_______ WINDOW PANEL TO PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND /OR DAMAGE. MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE SUFFICIENT PERSONS DURING THE OPERATION. EACH WINDOW PANEL WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 20Kg (44.11b).
(1) Installation of the acrylic sliding window panel (LUCAS/ACT supplier, P/N NH...) and glass sliding window panel (PPG supplier, P/N NH...). (Ref. Fig. 418/TASK 56-12-11-991-072)
NOTE : The attachment holes on the periphery of the window panel are
____
identified by numbers 1 to 63.
(a) Use 2 suction cups to move and hold the sliding window panel (31) in position during installation in its frame.

(b)
Put the sliding window panel (31) in position in its housing.
(c)
Move the frame of the sliding window to the closed position.
(d)
Installation of the pins:
(e)
Move the frame of the sliding window to the open position.
(f)
Do a check of the interface clearance C between the sliding window panel (31) and the frame (33). (Ref. Fig. 420/TASK 56-12-11-991-074)
1_ For the acrylic sliding windows (LUCAS/ACT supplier P/N
NH...), install 2 locating pins dia. 5.5 mm (0.19 in.), length
50 mm (1.96 in.) at positions 28 and 60 to hold the sliding
window panel (31) in position.
2_ For the glass sliding windows (PPG supplier, P/N NP...),
install 2 locating pins dia. 4.8 mm (0.19 in.), length 50 mm
(1.96 in.) at positions 28 and 60 to hold the sliding window
panel (31) in position.
1 Make sure that the interface through-clearance C is 2 mm
_ (0.0787 in.) maximum.
NOTE : The check of the interface clearance C is not
____ applicable for the acrylic sliding window (LUCAS/ACT supplier, P/N NH...).
(g)
Install the screws (32) and the nuts (30). Do not install screws at positions 28 and 60.
