R (b) Turn the rod (103) until the locking lever (101) engages in the
R rack (102).
R (c) Tighten the nuts (105).
R (d) Safety the nuts (105) with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
R (3) If the locking lever (101) does not engage after these steps:
R (a) Remove the circlip (106).
R (b) Loosen the nut (107).
R (c) Turn the eccentric (108) until the locking lever (101) engages in
R the rack (102).
R (d) Make sure that the clearance J7 between the rack (102) and the
R side of the rail (104) is 0.5 mm (0.0196 in.) minimum.
R If the clearance J7 is not in the tolerance, turn the rod until
R the locking lever (101) engages in the rack (102).
R (e) TORQUE the nut (107) to between 0.4 and 0.5 m.daN (35.39 and
R 44.24 lbf.in).
R (f) Safety the nut (107) with BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS
R (Material No. 08-002A).
R (g) Install the circlip (106).
R (4) Do a check of the adjustment on the X and Y axis.

R F. Sealing Check
R (1) Close the sliding window
R (2) Apply water to the periphery of the sliding window from the outer
R side of the aircraft
R (3) After ten minutes, make sure that there is no water leakage at the
R window frame.

R (4) If water goes into the cockpit, make sure that the adjustments are
R correct and that the seal is in the correct condition.
R (5) Dry if necessary.

R G. Installation of the Aft Upper Rail
R (Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 56-12-11-991-032)
R (1) Remove the nuts (57), the bolts (54), (55) and the aft upper rail
R (56).
R (2) Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019) between the
R upper surface of the aft upper rail (56) and the frame.
R (3) Install the aft upper rail (56) on its support.
R (4) Install the bolts (54), (55) the nuts (57) and tighten them.
R (5) Remove the film that gives protection to the sliding window.

R H. Installation of the Lining Panels
R (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 56-12-11-991-031, 402/TASK 56-12-11-991-033)
R (1) Installation of the sliding window lining (16)
R (a) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
R (b) Connect the sensor (10).
R (c) Lift the plate (17) and put the sliding window lining (16) in
R position.
R (d) Put the plate (17) in position, install the screws (12) and
R tighten them.
R (e) Install the screws (11) and tighten them.
R (f) Install the washer (2) and the screw (3).
R (g) Tighten the screw (3).
R (h) Install the blanking plug (4).

R (i) Open the sliding window.
R (j) Install the guide (13) on the sliding window lining (16) with the
R washer (14) and the screw (15).
R (k) Tighten the screw (15).
R (l) Install the washer (8) and the screw (9).
R (m) Tighten the screw (9).
R (n) Put the handle (6) in position.
R (o) Install the washer (20) and the screw (21).
R NOTE : Do not fully tighten the screw (21).____
R (p) Install the washer (18) and the screw (19).
R (q) Tighten the screws (19) and (21).
R (r) Put the pencil holder assembly (7) in position.
