Make sure that the tab washer (7) engages into the hole of the mounting bracket (6).

Install the castle nut (5) on the lamp body (4).
(f)
TORQUE the castle nut (5) with the SPANNER - WRENCH (98F52308330000) to 0.12 m.daN (10.61 lbf.in).
(2)
Install the lamp (3) in the lamp body (4) as follows:
(a)
Make sure that the lamp body (4) is in the correct condition.
(b)
Put the lamp (3) into the lamp body (4).
(c)
Install the lamp cover (1) the rubber cap (2) on the lamp body
(4) and turn it.
(d)
Make sure that the rubber cap (2) is installed correctly on the castle nut (5).

B. Get Access
(1)
Open the access panel 154AR of the door control panel below the fuselage.
(2)
To get access to the service panel 2027VU, continues as follows:
(a)
Open the AFT cargo compartment door (referred to as cargo door) and install the actuator safety locks (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(b)
Remove the floor panel 152AG of the AFT cargo compartment (Ref. TASK 53-42-14-000-001).
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Indicator Light (8MJ)
(Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 52-35-12-991-002)
(1)
Remove the lamp assy (1) and the rubber cap (2) from the lamp body (3).
(2)
Remove the service panel (7) from the aft control panel as follows:
(a)
Disconnect the connector (8) from the receptacle of the service panel (7).
(b)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(c)
Remove the srews (4) and the washers (5) from the inner side of the aft control panel.
(d)
Remove the service panel (7) and the seal (6) from the aft control panel.
(3)
Disassemble the service panel (7) as follows:
(a)
Remove the screw (14) from the plate (13).
(b)
Carefully remove the plate (13) and the seal (10) from the service panel (7).
