A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that an access platform is below the opened access door.
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

A. Closing of the Avionics Compartment Door 811 (Access Door)
R R R CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE DOOR HANDLE IS FLUSH WITH THE DOOR RECESS_______ BEFORE YOU MOVE IT INBOARD. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE DOOR SKIN.
CAUTION : WHEN YOU CLOSE THE AVIONICS COMPARTMENT DOOR, MAKE SURE THAT_______ YOUR HANDS ARE NOT ON THE EDGE OF THE OPENING. THE DOOR CLOSES QUICKLY AT THE END OF THE MOVEMENT AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO YOUR HANDS.

R R (1) Push the button of the door handle to release the door handle from its recess.
R (2) Hold the access door and make sure that it cannot fall down.

R (3) Move the door handle to the OPEN position.
R (4) Make sure that your hands do not touch the door frame edge of the
R fuselage.

R (5) Pull on the door handle to move the access door down into the door
opening.

R (6) Move the door handle to the CLOSED position and push it into its
recess.

R locking angle.

R (5) Carefully move the access door down into the door opening.
R (6) Move the door handle to the CLOSED position and push it into its
recess.
