A. Preparation for the Deactivation
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the damaged access door of the refuel/defuel control panel 800VU.
(2)
Do a check of the fuel quantity required for the next planned flight.
(3)
If necessary, refuel the a/c as required (Ref. TASK 12-11-28-650-003).

A. Deactivation of the Refuel/Defuel Control Panel (800VU) NOTE : Before you start the deactivation make sure that the a/c is

refueled for the next flight.
(1)
Remove the rest of the access door 192MB (Ref. TASK 52-42-18-000-001).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the microswitch 20QU.
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Attach the disconnected connectors with tie-wraps to the adjacent structure.

(5) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.

Clean the belly fairing structure around the cutout with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-016).
(7)
Cover the cutout of the belly fairing with three layers of BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-061) (high-speed tape).
NOTE : Attach the first layer longitudinally over the cutout, the
____ second and third layers diagonally so that the layers overlap each other.

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.

Remove the access platform(s).
(2)
Make an entry in the aircraft technical log that the access door of the refuel/defuel panel is removed and temporarily closed with high-speed tape.
