 (5) Install the new cotter pins (9).
 (6) Connect the bonding leads (7).
 (7) Put the washer (6), then the actuator (5) in position.
 (8) Apply COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-004) to the rod pin of the door.
 (9) Install the washer (4) and the nut (3) and tighten it.
 (10) Install the cotter pin (2).

R R  B. Check and Adjustment of the Out-of-flush Dimension Between the Door (21) and the Fuselage (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 52-41-14-991-003) 
R R R  (1) Keep the door against the stop and measure the out-of-flush dimension J1 between the door (21) and the fuselage. The out-of-flush dimension J1 must be 0 -0.8 +0.8 mm (0.0000 -0.0314 +0.0314 in.). 
R  (2) If the out-of-flush dimension J1 is not in the tolerances:
 (a) Open the door (21).
 (b) Remove the two self-locking nuts (22), the two screws (23) and the washers (24).
 (c) Put a new set of washers (24), and install the two screws (23) and the two self-locking nuts (22).

 

 (d)
 Close the door and make sure that the clearance J2 is 0.2 mm (0.0078 in.).

 (e)
 TORQUE the two self-locking nuts (22) to between 0.35 and 0.45 daN (0.78 and 1.01 lbf).


 (f) Close the door (21).

 C. Check and Adjustment of the Clearance between the Door and the Feeders (Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 52-41-14-991-005)
 (1)
 Open the door (17).

 (2)
 Make sure that the clearance J3 between the door (17) and the feeders

 (18) is 20 mm (0.7874 in.) minimum.

 (3)
 If the clearance J3 is not in the tolerance:


 (a) Loosen the nut (15).
 (b) Lower the eccentric nut (16) and make sure that the clearance J3 R is 20 mm (0.7874 in.) minimum.
 (c) Torque the nut (15) to between 0.62 and 0.75 daN (1.39 and 1.68 lbf).
 (4) Close the door (17).

 D. Check of the Load on the Locking Handle
 (1)
 Close the door

 (2)
 Measure the load on the door handle with a dynamometer and make sure that the load is between 8 daN (17.9847 lbf) and 15 daN (33.7213 lbf).
