Depressurize the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4)
Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(5)
Put the lint-free cloth below the hydraulic connections of the manual selector valve to collect the hydraulic fluid.
(6)
Disconnect the isolation coupling of the power transfer unit (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001) to prevent the pressurization of the Green hydraulic system.

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Proximity Switch
(Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 52-36-15-991-003)
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the proximity switch (12).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connector (11) and on the receptacle of the proximity switch (12).
(3)
Cut and remove the lockwire from the proximity switch (12).
(4)
Remove the proximity switch (12) from the valve body (13).
(5)
Remove the back-up ring (23) and the O-ring (24) from the valve body (13).
NOTE : Discard the O-ring (24).
