4. Procedure

Subtask 52-35-12-420-050
A. Installation of the Indicator Light 9MJ
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 52-35-12-991-001)
(1)
Install the lamp body (4) in the mounting bracket (6) as follows:
(a)
Install a new heat-shrink tubing (9) on the wire harness (10).
(b)
Connect the wire harness (10) to the terminals of the lamp body (4).
(c)
Install the heat-shrink tubing (9)on the terminals of the lamp body (4).
(d)
Heat the heat-shrink tubing (9) with a HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 370 DEG C (700 DEG F) to shrink it.
(e)
Put a layer of the BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-004) between the lamp body (4) and the heat-shrink tubing (9) to give protection to the terminals.
(f)
Put the lamp body (4) with the castle nut (8) and the tab washer
(7) in position in the mounting bracket (6).
(g)
Make sure that the tab washer (7) engages into the hole of the mounting bracket (6).
(h)
Install the castle nut (5) on the lamp body (4).
(i)
TORQUE the castle nut (5) with the SPANNER - WRENCH (98F52308330000) to 0.12 m.daN (10.61 lbf.in).
(2)
Install the lamp (3) in the lamp body (4) as follows:
(a)
Make sure that the lamp body (4) is in the correct condition.
(b)
Put the lamp (3) into the lamp body (4).
(c)
Install the lamp cover (1) the rubber cap (2) on the lamp body
(4) and turn it.

(d) Make sure that the rubber cap (2) is installed correctly on the castle nut (5).
