(3)
Set the CARGO COMPT light switch 8LU on the service panel to the ON position.

4. Procedure

A. Deactivation of the Toilet Servicing Door 172AR (Ref. Fig. 402/TASK 52-42-00-991-004, 403/TASK 52-42-00-991-005)
NOTE : Before you start the deactivation make sure that the toilet system
____ is serviceable for the next flight (Ref. TASK 38-31-00-680-001).
(1)
Remove the remaining part of the AFT lavatory service door (Ref. TASK 52-42-11-000-001).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the microswitch 44MG (1).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Attach the disconnected connector (2) to the adjacent structure with the tie-wrap.
(5)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(6)
Clean the adjacent structure around the cutout with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-016) and lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).

(7) Attach three layers of high-speed tape,BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-061) to fully close the cutout of the lavatory service door as follows:

Attach the first layer of high-speed tape longitudinally over the cutout. layer.
