3. Job Set-up

A. Get Access
(1)
Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the inner side of the Bulk cargo compartment door (referred to as Bulk door).
(2)
Remove the divider net between the AFT/Bulk cargo compartment at FR59.
(3)
Remove the door net from the opening of the Bulk door.
(4)
Remove the lining and the insulation from the Bulk door (Ref. TASK 52-33-13-000-001).
(5)
Put the access platform in position of the Bulk door.
(6)
Open the Bulk door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-006) to clean the lateral components.
4. Procedure

A. Cleaning of the Structure of the Bulk Door
(1)
Remove all dirt or unwanted material with a vacuum cleaner and/or a dry brush.
(2)
Clean the painted components of the primary structure of the Bulk door with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cloth or a brush.
NOTE : Make sure that the cleaning agent does not dry on the surface.

(3) Clean the inner surface of the outer skin with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002) to remove the remaining adhesive of the insulation panels.
NOTE : Make sure that the cleaning agent does not dry on the surface.

(4) Dry the cleaned components with a dry and clean lint-free cloth or with dry, compressed air.

(5)
Examine the drain holes and the drain device to make sure that they are clean and not blocked.
(6)
Make sure that the corners and the recesses are clean of all unwanted material.
