A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(3)
Make sure that the reservoir of the Yellow hydraulic system is depressurized. (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(4)
Make sure that the isolation coupling of the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) is disconnected (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(5)
Make sure that the warning notices are in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system:
-In the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel,
-On the ground service panel of the Yellow hydraulic system.
(6)
Put the spillage container below the double check valve 3717GM to collect hydraulic fluid.
(7)
Make sure that the access panel 198CB is opened.

4. Procedure

A. Preparation of the Selector Valve before Installation
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Prepare the bobbins (4) as follows:
(a)
Remove the O-ring (2), the back-up rings (3) and (5) and the square-section seal (6) from the bobbin (4).
(b)
Lubricate the the new O-ring (2), the new back-up ring (3), the new back-up ring (5) and the new square-section seal (6) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
