Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Make sure that the light SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Differential Pressure Transducer (8043KM)
(1)
Remove the blanking plugs from the air tubes (9) and (12).
(2)
Install the new packing (8) on the tube (9).
(3)
Put the differential pressure transducer in position, and install the tube (9) with the bolt (10).
(4)
Install the new packing (11) on the tube (12).
(5)
Connect the tube (12) to the differential pressure transducer (8043KM) (6) with the bolt (1) and the washer (2), and the tube retainer (3).
(6)
Install the differential pressure transducer (8043KM) (6) with the bolts (4) and the cable bracket (5).
(7)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(8)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(9)
Connect the electrical connector (7) to the differential pressure transducer (8043KM) (6).
(10) Safety the bolts (1) and (10) with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel
0.8 mm (0.032 in) dia. Subtask 49-51-16-865-052
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

Set the LIGHT control SW 11LJ to the OFF position.

Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 49-51-16-860-052

Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Pressurize the reservoirs of the hydraulic systems. (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(2)
De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
