 3. Job Set-up

 A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 (2)
 On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.

 (3)
 Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

 (4)
 Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
 (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).


 (5)
 Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.

 (6)
 Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

 (7)
 Make sure that the LIGHT control switch 11LJ is set to the on position.

 A. Installation CAUTION : YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU
_______ REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.
 CAUTION : -YOU MUST NOT INCREASE THE TIGHTENING TORQUE MORE THAN THE
_______ MAXIMUM VALUE. -APPLY ALL TIGHTENING TORQUES WITH A TORQUE WRENCH OR A CALIBRATED SCREWDRIVER.
 CAUTION : DO NOT TORQUE THE V-CLAMP(S) TO MORE THAN THE SPECIFIED VALUE.

 Position the valve and attach the V-band clamp (15).

 Position the valve and attach the V-band clamp (9).

 Align the valve with duct (17) and attach the V-band clamp (18).

 Attach the tube (22) to the valve union.

 (6)
 Attach the tube (21) to the valve elbow.
