The MCDU shows the APU information in normal mode and menu mode through the CFDS.
F. Normal Mode During a normal mode the ECB continuously transmits all class 1 and 2 faults and messages to the CFDS. The MCDU display shows the faults and messages when the 'LAST LEG REPORT' is set. The Centralized Fault Display Interface Unit (CFDIU) makes the display on the MCDU in a normal mode.
G. Menu Mode The menu mode is available on the MCDU display when the 'SYSTEM REPORT TEST' is set and an 'APU' selection is made. The MCDU display shows the related APU system data and the faults when a selection of the APU menu is made. The ECB makes the display on the MCDU in a menu mode. The APU menu includes the:
-LAST LEG REPORT,
-PREVIOUS LEG REPORT,
-LRU IDENTIFICATION,
-GROUND SCANNING,
-TROUBLE SHOOT DATA,
-CLASS 3 FAULTS,
-TEST,
-SHUT DOWNS,
-SERVICE DATA,
(1)
<LAST LEG REPORT> This gives the LRU failures (class 1 and 2) during the last flight leg, related to the system selection. When you push the function key 3R or 5R you get access to the <TROUBLE SHOOT DATA> menu.
(2)
<PREVIOUS LEG REPORT> This gives all the LRU failures (class 1 and 2) for the previous flight legs, a maximum of 30 failures. When you push the function key 3R or 5R you get access to the <TROUBLE SHOOT DATA> menu page.
(3)
<LRU IDENTIFICATION> This gives the part number, the serial number and the software version of the ECB only.
(4)
Not Applicable
(5)
<GND SCANNING> This gives the possibility to show system failure. You get access to the GND Scanning through the MCDU on ground, wether the APU is running or not. When the APU runs and GND Scanning is activated, the failures are shown when they occure. These failures are not memorized.
(6)
<TROUBLE SHOOT DATA> This gives trouble shooting information to each CLASS 1 and CLASS 2 fault in plain english, like
-Additional fault information,
-
Fault Code Number (FCN),
-
Fault Classification,
-Flight Phase during fault detection.
-Existing other faults.
The function key 5R gives access to the menu <LRU EVENT>.
(a) <LRU EVENT> This gives more information about the status of the APU and periphical systems during detection of the faulty LRU, like:
-Fault Code Number (FCN),
-Test Mode at time of detection (PUT/SET/IOT),
-
Status of APU MASTER SW,
-
Status of START CONTACTOR,
-
Status of APU SPEED,
-
Status of FLAME ON,
-
Status of BLEED SWITCH,
-
Status of MES mode,
-
Status of COOLDOWN,
-
Status of LOW FUEL PRESS,
-
Status of IGV/SCV position,
-
Status of IN AIR,
-
Status of IGV TRIM.
(7)
<CLASS 3 FAULTS> This gives every class 3 fault that has occurred. When you push the the function key 3R or 5R adjacent to the fault you get access to the menu <TROUBLE SHOOT DATA>.
(8)
<TEST> This will start a self test and will show any LRU failures (not related to class of fault). When the test passes the message TEST OK is shown.
(9)
<SHUTDOWNS>
This gives information about protective shutdowns, like
-type of shutdown,
-LRU which causes the shutdown,
-if the ECB does not detect a failed component, the most likely LRUs
-date and GMT of shutdown occurence,
-
access to additional troubleshooting data via <LRU DATA>.
-
access to APU status information at time of protective shutdown via <EVENT DATA>.
(10)
<APU SERVICE DATA> This gives:
-
the APU S/N.......... : serial number,
-
the APU HOURS.........: operation hours,
-The CYCLES........... : start cycles,
-the OIL LEVEL.........: OK or LOW, 中国航空网 www.aero.cn 航空翻译 www.aviation.cn 本文链接地址:A320飞机维护手册 AMM 机载辅助动力 AIRBORNE AUXILIARY POWER5(156)
