A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Removal of the Thermocouple Probes (8057KM1) or (8057KM2)
(1)
Remove the nut (1), the nut (2) and the washers (3) which attach the electrical connections (4) to the thermocouple probe (8057KM1) or (8057KM2) (6).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connectors (4).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the bolts (5).
(5)
Remove the bolts (5) which attach the thermocouple probe (6) to the turbine casing.
(6)
Remove the thermocouple probe (8057KM1) or (8057KM2) (6).
(7)
Remove and discard the gasket (7).
(8)
Install the blanking plugs to the thermocouple orifice.
(9)
Prevent damage to the component interface and the adjacent area.
