(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the ON position.

A. Removal of the Bypass Valve
(1)
Loosen the pipes (1), (7) and (9) from the bypass valve (3).
(2)
Remove the screws (4) and the washers (5) from the bypass valve (3).
(3)
Carefully remove the bypass valve (3) from the pipes (1), (7), (9) and from the bracket (6).
(4)
Remove and discard the packings (2), (8) and (10).
(5)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.

(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7)
Make sure that the LIGHT control switch 11LJ is set to the ON position.
