A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7)
Make sure that the LIGHT control SW 11LJ set to the ON position.

A. Installation of the Speed Sensor
(1)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(2)
Lubricate the new packing (3) and packing (4) with OILS (Material No. 03-002).
(3)
Install the new O-rings (3) and (4) on the speed sensor (2).
(4)
Install the speed sensor (2) on the APU.
(5)
Tighten the nut (5) to secure the speed sensor (2).
(6)
TORQUE the nut (5) to 0.46 m.daN (40.70 lbf.in).
(7)
Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (1).
(8)
Connect the electrical connector (1) to the speed sensor (2). Subtask 49-71-13-865-060
B.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.
