A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the on position.

A. Removal of the Total Pressure Sensor (8044KM)
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connection (1) from the total pressure sensor (8044KM) (2).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Remove and discard the safety wire from the bolt (3).
(4)
Remove the bolt (3) from the pipe (4) on the total pressure sensor (8044KM) (2).
(5)
Remove the bolt (5) from the total pressure sensor (8044KM) (2).
(6)
Remove the total pressure sensor (8044KM) (2) carefully away from the pipe (4).
(7)
Remove and discard the packing (6) from the pipe (4).
(8)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
