(a) Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to all mating surfaces and to the screw (6), the washers (7) and (8), and the nut (9). Do not apply to the bonding strap (15).

Put the oil-cooler outlet-duct assembly (8052KM) in position and install the screws (6), the washers (7) and (8), and the nuts (9). Do not fully tighten the nuts (5) at this time.

Connect the bellow (2) to the oil cooler outlet and install the clamp (1).
(7)
TORQUE the clamp (1) to between 0.4 and 0.5 m.daN (35.39 and 44.24
lbf.in).
(8)
Close the APU access door 315AL.
(9)
Install the pipe (4) on the bellow (2) with the clamp (3).
(10)
TORQUE the nuts (9) to to 0.45 m.daN (39.82 lbf.in).
(11)
Adjust the pipe (4) to get a precompression of between 1.3 mm (0.0511 in.) and 1.7 mm (0.0669 in.) of the seal between the flanges of the pipe (4) and the outlet-duct (16) at the APU access door 315AL.
NOTE : The adjustment range C is 10 mm (0.3937 in.).

Tighten the clamps (5) and the clamp (3).
(13)
Open the APU access door 315AL.
(14)
Connect the bonding strap (15) to the structure with the bolt (13), the washers (11) and (14), and the nut (12) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.

D. Test
(1)
Do the operational test of the APU (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-710-004).
(2)
Operate the APU for min. five minutes and examine the joints of the air by-pass duct for leaks (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-790-004).
NOTE : Leaks are not permitted.
